Ingredients:
Cleavers, Chamomile, Rosehip, and Nettle

Enjoy a relaxing tea moment together with your horse — how nice does that sound?

Tea may not be part of a horse’s natural diet, but it is a delicious and healthy treat. After training, during a quiet moment, or just as an extra indulgence. Many horses enjoy a bucket of herbal tea!

Making tea

Making this horse tea is simple:

  1. Put the tea (bag or loose herbs) in a bucket or large feeding bowl.
  2. Pour at least 1 liter of warm water over it and let it steep for a while.
  3. Then add about 1 liter of cold water until it is lukewarm. Is your horse a bit picky? You can optionally add a small handful of slobber.

Dosage

Maximum 1 dose per day.
For ponies under 350 kg: 6 grams (± 2 measuring scoops) per tea serving.
For horses over 350 kg: 12 grams (± 4 measuring scoops) per tea serving.

Additionally, the tea biscuits can be given as a treat, with a maximum of 1 to 2 per day.

Not suitable for horses younger than 12 months.

Your horse will enjoy the gentle flavor of the herbal mix.

Some horses will need to get used to the taste. So it may take a while before they start drinking. The first few times, you can make a slightly weaker tea so your horse can gradually get used to the taste.

Storage advice

Store the product in a cool place (below 25°C), dry, and in a well-sealed package. Preferably keep it in a dark place to prevent nutrient degradation by light. Do not use the product after the expiration date on the label.

Disclaimer

Herbs are complementary animal feed; this means they are not a replacement for the daily ration but a supplement. Horses naturally eat a variety of grasses, flowers, leaves, stems, bark, roots, and seeds. Tea is not part of a horse’s normal diet but is an extra addition.

We advise consulting a specialist for medical issues. The plants, herbs, and flowers may interact with medication or cause an allergic reaction. When in doubt, always consult a specialist beforehand and consult your veterinarian.

Always ensure there is enough fresh and clean drinking water.
