The Excellent Horse snuffle mat is designed to challenge horses and ponies! This mat stimulates the natural foraging behavior (sniffing behavior) of horses, as they have to work to get all the treats off the mat. Ideal for preventing boredom or for rewarding horses in a playful way. The mat is made of soft silicone and is therefore also suitable for sensitive horse noses.
Use
Place the snuffle mat on a flat surface (for example, in the stable, in the trailer or on the paddock) and fill it with treats, such as mash, kibble, muesli or pieces of fruit or vegetables. After use, the mat can be easily hung up (for example with a carabiner hook), thanks to the hole in the corner, so that the mat can be rinsed and air-dried.
